PRODUCTION DESIGN

Hi!

I'm Tara and I'm a Production Designer and illustrator based in Dublin, Ireland. For as long as I can remember I have always been making, taking things apart and building. My father used to joke that there were never any cereal boxes in our house, just bags, as I would have repurposed them for different art projects. I come from a family of creatives, my mother working in print and my father a painter and furniture restorer. Upon leaving school I went to the National College of Art and Design where I studied Product Design. After 4 years I achieved a first class honours degree in Design. Since then I have been  working freelance for Raidió Teilifís Éireann, the National Broadcaster of Ireland. Here I honed my trade and gained experience working in entertainment, drama, sport, current affairs and children's programming. As well as working in RTÉ I also worked on various other productions for ALDI, TV3 and TG4 to name a few. Most recently I have ventured into the world of illustration, drawing tongue in cheek pictures focusing on whats happening around Dublin.
